A new WiFi network for BIFA

Each month YWAM has a local gathering at a local ministry and each month they do it at a different ministry. Last month the meeting was at a ministry called Bifa, which is a sports ministry. They do community outreach through soccer at their arena. When I got there, I was almost immediately approached by one of the leaders of this project with the question if we would have time to chat about their Wi-Fi network. They were having significant issues with the Wi-Fi as they often had a large number of people present on-site and when any one of them would try to make a payment via the bank or do anything else online, the whole network would come crashing down. This was mostly due to the fact that they were using their Internet Service Providers modem, which can’t really handle much of anything, let alone 30 to 50 to even 100 people all at the same time.

All that to say is that they asked me to come up with a design for a better, stronger network that would be able to facilitate all the people that could ever be present on site as they rely heavily on WiFi on their property, because the cellular signal is almost non-existent there, and people need to be able to make payments in their coffee shop. A few days later I sent them a design along with a price list. They were really happy with it and proceeded to immediately transfer the money after which I immediately placed the orders for all the parts and pieces that were necessary to build this network.

Everything arrived within 24 hours and a few days later we were able to schedule a time to go in and install the network. The install itself took only one day with some final pieces being wrapped up a few days later. They now have full WiFi coverage across their entire property with amazing speed and stability. They were, and still are, very happy.

you are so gifted! Nowadays without wifi in a cafe like BIFA”s, it would be hard to run it as so many people depend on using their phones to pay. Linda
