Home Front Team (TFT) – Part 1/3

Because Chester and Pim do not receive a salary and live on donations, they cannot do their work without support from their supporters. To ensure this runs smoothly, the Home Front Team (TFT) has been formed.

What does the Home Front Team do?

• It maintains contact with Chester and Pim;
• Acts as a contact person between them and their supporters;
• Arranges practical matters (in case of leave, etc.);
• Organizes activities and meetings (information evenings, fundraising campaigns, etc.);
• Raises financial support;
• Pray and give thanks for the personal circumstances and the work of Chester and Pim.

Who are the Home Front Team?

The TFT is currently formed by Erik and Evelyn, Eric and Betsy, and Nihaila. In the coming updates they will each explain why they support Chester and Pim in their work. Erik and Evelyn Stalman are up first:

Erik and Evelyn Stalman:
“We met Chester and Pim during the period when we were missionaries in Thailand on behalf of Wycliffe Bible Translators. They have been a great support to us in all kinds of matters; not only ICT-related, but also when it comes to better understanding the Thai culture in which we have lived. We have seen that Chester and Pim’s work is essential to a large number of mission organizations in Chiang Rai, including Chiang Rai International Christian School (where our children attended and where Evelyn worked) and New Life Church (where we also attended ). Now that we are back in the Netherlands, we would like to support Chester and Pim. Because they have both lived in Thailand (almost) all their lives, it is difficult for them to maintain and expand contacts in the Netherlands. We are happy to help them with that!”
