New Laptops

This past month I, Chester, was able to help a Bible study development project with sourcing and preparing laptops to be used for translation and curriculum development work. The whole process took quite some time but, in the end, they have new laptops that can be used all over Asia for their work.

What do you mean by sourcing and preparing? Well, they messaged me and explained what they were looking for. I then called up some local companies and asked for prices for a variety of different models of laptops. I then presented those options to the project leaders after which they choose the model they wanted. They then transferred the money for the laptops to me after which I placed the order. That same day the company delivered the laptops to my house.

Over the next few days, I spent time running the initial setup on all the laptops and installed all the latest updates for Windows. I then loaded all the different pieces of software they had requested like Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite. After running some final updates and checks, the laptops were ready to be delivered to the project.
